Cody Mitchell

Co-Founder

Cody Mitchell is a director and cinematographer with a background in photography. He studied Photo-Communications at St. Edwards University where he grew up in Austin, Texas. After bringing a camera to a high-altitude mountaineer trek in the Himalayas while studying abroad, Cody realized he would always see life through the lens.

Cody works in television and documentary, shoots aerial cinematography and creates independent films. In 2016, he was 1st camera operator for the SXSW Audience Award winning HONKY TONK HEAVEN. Last year, he directed and produced his comedy feature film debut THE STUMBLERS. Recently, he produced Rocky Ridge Trucks commercials that reached a national audience on Outdoor Channel. Today, after co-founding Mitchell Mitchell, he loves carving fresh powder in the Rockies, fly fishing in the Roaring Fork and daydreaming up his next grand aerial shot through the crisp mountain air.
